Effective close of business on June 30, 2017, the Education Achievement Authority of Michigan (EAA) was dissolved, and all facilities were returned to the Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD).

EAA students have been received by DPSCD.

Enrollment at DPSCD

EAA student(s) were automatically enrolled into a DPSCD school for the fall of 2017. However, if your child has completed eighth grade and is graduating to a high school, then parents must apply in person and complete an enrollment form. Forms and other enrollment information can be found here on DPSCD’s website.

DPSCD now holds the student records & transcripts for former EAA students, including those who graduated from EAA schools. Former EAA students & families can find the full step-by-step process for requesting student records through DPSCD here. Please note records may now include the DPSCD emblem.
