Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree. The applicant must also have extensive computer experience with Microsoft Office.
Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience processing and maintaining SBCEU applications and transcripts.
Regular Attendance is critical; must have an exemplary attendance record.
Must be able to verify whether U.S. citizen, resident alien, or otherwise authorized to accept employment in the U.S.
Must be physically able to perform the duties and responsibilities outlined with or without accommodations.
Extensive experience with utilizing the Coursewhere (Online Registration Site) for district professional development.
Under the direction of the Executive Director of Professional Development
1. Supports the development and implementation of the District�s process to adhere to the state's guidelines for the Secure Central Registry (SCR).
2. Analyze district employee transcripts and update the State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECH).
3. Design a process to track employees' participating in professional development offerings.
4. Manage the course administrator functions for the districts' coursewhere software to ensure that clock hours are awarded
5. Monitor and solicit the participation of paraprofessionals, teachers, and administrators in district-wide professional development.
6. Assist and provide support to the professional development initiatives for non-instructional staff.
7. Utilize the Peoplesoft system to create, track, and receive on professional development services and products with a high level of expertise.
8. Work closely with HR Certification and records to ensure that employees receive proper verification of professional development activities.
9. Perform other tasks and assume other responsibilities as assigned.
