Vernor Elementary Harvest Dance

Vernor Elementary School hosted a Harvest Dance on Wednesday, October 31, 2012. The Harvest Dance was an effort to encourage students, parents and the staff of Vernor Elementary to come together as a community and enjoy the harvest season festivities, especially Halloween. The event was a huge success. In a packed hall with more than 250 attendees, alumni, students and staff danced and bonded with one another. Competitions such as “The Funniest Costume,” “The Most Original Costume,” “The Most Artistic Costume” and “The Scariest Costume” drew huge applause from the crowd. The Harvest Dance Festival was also a fundraiser for student scholarships and student attendance incentives.
