Vote now for Bates students to win Quizalize Game Design Competition

Bates Academy grade 6 students Amara and William have made it to the finals of the Quizalize Game Design Competition.

Amara and William’s design was one of two entries from Michigan to make it through to the final eight. Their game “The Diverse Hospital” is about diversity.

“We decided to make a game about diversity to let people know that different races can work together and that they can have powerful, valuable, and high-paying positions such as a doctor. In the game, you play through a single level in which three doctors, one Asian, one African-American, and one Caucasian complete a heart transplant.”

We are so proud of Amara and William on designing this innovative and yet very realistic game.

Online voting is now OPEN! It will close in exactly one week, so spread the word and tell your family, friends and neighbors to vote for Amara and William’s game design!
