Students receive Scholastic Gold Key for art portfolios

Congratulations to our Scholastic Art & Writing Awards winners, who have the opportunity to have their art displayed nationally and earn scholarships! Asia Bonney from Cass Technical High School and Indiana Jones from Bates Academy received regional Gold Keys for their portfolios, the highest award before advancing to the national round in New York City. Scholarships of $10,000 are presented to 16 Gold Key portfolio students across the nation. Nine additional DPSCD students received Gold or Silver Keys for individual work. See the full list below.

Regional Gold Key work is under review for national recognition for the New York City showcase and will be announced on March 13. Congratulations and good luck to our talented students!
