As a reminder, the Detroit Promise scholarship provides Detroit students a tuition-free path to earn a post-secondary credential at a number of institutions. The Detroit Promise provides last-dollar funding for students who live in the city of Detroit and will graduate from a Detroit high school, which means students must apply for FAFSA. The scholarship will be put into place after any Pell and/or TIP funding has been applied to the tuition and mandatory fees bill. More information is available at detroitpromise.com.
