Enroll. Attend. Succeed – Every School Day Counts!

All DPSCD parents and guardians are invited to enjoy free breakfast and a specially-prepared free lunch at their children’s school on Count Day, Wednesday, October 4. Also, many schools are hosting Count Day events and activities that highlight the importance of attendance. The importance of reporting Count Day and monitoring attendance throughout the week determines pupil funding.  Consistent school attendance improves graduation rates, increases achievement and gives our students the best chance at success in their adult life. Make the commitment and ensure all students are in school on-time and ready to learn every day. Check with your school for more information about Count Day activities and meal times.
