Summer pop-up enrollment centers open for DPSCD families

In preparation of the 2017-2018 school year, Detroit Public Schools Community District opened three walk-in enrollment centers for families to enroll in any DPSCD school. The pop-up centers’ hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday from August 1 to August 18 at three convenient locations across the city.

District representatives will assist parents in choosing the best-fit school for their children. Parents will receive information about district schools and programs such as the tuition-free Montessori, honors academies, same gender options and career pathway high school options to name a few.

Examination and application schools still require parents to follow the application process. Parents/guardians must apply in person and complete a DPSCD enrollment form found at or available at any DPSCD school. Parents should bring their photo ID, their child’s birth certificate, proof of address, immunization record and transcripts or report cards.
