Paul Robeson Malcolm X Places First at National CSTEM Competition

Congratulations to CSTEM students from Paul Robeson Malcolm X Academy for their outstanding performance at the National CSTEM Challenge held in Houston Texas last week! The students were exposed to STEM as they relate to real life experiences. Our students won first place in the following four categories:

  • Creative Writing and Film production with a research topic on Global Water Contamination
  • Photography with research topic on Conservation of Natural Resources Past and Present
  • Photography Quiz Bowl Tournament
  • Film Quiz Bowl Tournament

Congratulations to the winning students and their teachers who proudly represented DPSCD: Niri Raines, Davion Teague, Kalynn Johnson, Kendyl Carter, Kharry Anderson, and Taysia  Nash, Mr. Russell, Ms. Nichols, Ms. Brady and Dr. Amene.
