Read with the Principal Night at Munger!

Munger Elementary-Middle School hosted its First Annual “Reading with the Principal Night” honoring Dr. Seuss’ Birthday, on March 9.

The theme was “PJ ‘s and Popcorn” and Principal Donnell Burroughs read Green Eggs and Ham to over 230 PreK-4th grade students. Students and some staff members wore pajamas and brought blankets to sit on. Students also viewed Dr. Seuss’ Cat in the Hat and enjoyed popcorn and cookies with their parents!

Each student that attended the event received a brand new Dr. Seuss book that was donated by the Detroit Kiwanis No. 1 Club. The Club donated a total of 325 books.
