Benjamin Carson High School of Science and Medicine (BCHS) was selected as one of 20 National Academy Foundation (NAF) academies awarded with the 2015-2016 Lenovo Scholars Network Mobile App Development Program, on Thursday, October 15.
The mobile app development program, which is on its second year, is designed to provide a comprehensive curriculum that will advance STEM skills in the classroom. Students will participate in a project-based competition focused on designing and developing a mobile app and a business plan for taking the app to market. The program promotes critical thinking, team building and analytical skills needed to become the next generation of developers and innovators.
