The Detroit Children’s Museum invites the general public to Inventioneering: The Creation of Interesting Things

This is the last FREE summer family event and a rare opportunity for the general public

Students and families are invited to the last summer fun activity at the Detroit Children’s Museum. The theme Inventioneering: The Creation of Interesting Things will be carried out through fun learning activities and exploration of the museum. Families will also have the opportunity to enroll students in any DPS school. Participants will:

  • Explore activities in the Sound and Music Room, the PreK-3 grade exploration area and the main gallery.
  • Listen to stories about famous inventors.
  • Learn how inventions have impacted our lives.
  • Create and test inventions to take home.

The last summer family event, Inventioneering: The Creation of Interesting Things is Thursday, September 3, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m, at the Detroit Children’s Museum located on 6134 Second Ave.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.
