Osborn Prep students go green!

Detroit Collegiate Prep students in grades 9-12, including some students who are Autistic or Cognitively Impaired, recently worked in the conservatory, stacking pots in shelves, mixing soil, and planting turnip greens, peas, and herbs. The students learned how to measure and to follow instructions on the packaging for the seeds and discussed the care of the plants, including watering techniques and the type of sunlight and placement needed for plant growth.
