Mark Schlissel, U of M President visits Cass Tech students

University of Michigan President Mark Schlissel visited Cass Technical High School students for a recognition ceremony on Thursday, May 7. Schlissel, the 14th U of M president and the first physician-scientist to lead the institution, spoke to Cass Tech students who have been accepted to U of M during a round table discussion regarding topics including college readiness, college life and making their college experience a success.

During his visit, President Schlissel met with nearly 100 Cass Tech/U of M admitted students, their parents and current staff members, who are U of M alumni. President Schlissel also toured Cass Tech’s performing arts room, science lab and explore the school’s advanced placement English courses.
