On Wednesday, December 10, 2014, an 11 year old girl was abducted and sexually assaulted in Highland Park.
The assault took place between 7:45 – 8:15 a.m. on Church St. in the area of McNichols and John R. She was on her way to school when the person of interest abducted her at gunpoint and forced her into a vacant house where she was sexually assaulted.
