Detroit City Council members visit Ronald Brown Academy

Detroit City Council members André Spivey and James Tate, Jr. visited Ronald Brown Academy on Monday, October 27 to encourage and greet students as they arrived to school. The school visit is a part of the Detroit City Council Task Force on Black Male Engagement (TFBME).

TFBME was created in early 2014 and aims to create a positive foundation to provide leadership and mentoring. The taskforce addresses needs such as cultural awareness, community service, character building, educational advancement, family responsibility and financial literacy.
