Renaissance student receives National Achievement Scholarship

Renaissance High School senior Chloe Keene was recently awarded the National Achievement Scholarship Award. Keene recieved $2,500 and a Certificate of Achievement awarded to her by her counselor Mrs. Shamika Womble Wednesday, April 9. Keene’s status as a National Achievement finalist has helped to secure additional scholarship dollars from other colleges she has applied to.

The National AchievementScholarship Program, conducted by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), is an academic competition established to provide recognition for outstanding Black American high school students.
