Guest artist visits King High School

Students in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Senior High School Fine Arts Department had the pleasure of working with guest artist Donna Diamond Thursday, March 13. Diamond is an artist who reaches out into the community to encourage the exploration of the creative process through the individual’s unique voice.

Diamond is a New York award-winning and internationally exhibited artist, who has developed workshops to help educate at all levels. Embracing the premise that art is made with the head, the heart and the hand. Each workshop incorporates experiences that appeal to the five senses and is designed to offer individuals the opportunity to explore and create art that is completely his/her own.

This opportunity was sponsored by Marygrove College.
