Carver S.T.E.M. students think outside the box for Engineering Week

Engineering in a BoxStudents in Mrs. Wright and Mrs. Gordon’s 3rd grade classes at Carver S.T.E.M. Academy had the opportunity to “think outside the box” for National Engineers Week February 16-22. Students participated in a unique program titled Engineering in a Box, presented by Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) Engineers, LLC.

Engineering in a Box is a customized kit that allows students to create and participate in exciting hands-on activities to discover and explore the world of science. Carver students were engaged in various activities to expand their knowledge of the many types of engineering career fields. Carver gives thanks to their friends at MEP Engineers, LLC for their commitment to the students at Carver S.T.E.M. Academy.
