Detroit School of Arts students to perform at Carnegie Hall Mar. 29 & April 28

To help raise funding for the trip, a benefit concert will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Mar. 22 at DSA. Tickets are $10 per person.

DSA-Carnegie HallThe Detroit School of Arts Wind Symphony and Symphony Orchestra will perform for the National Invitational Band and Orchestra Festival at Carnegie Hall in New York City on Friday, March 29, 2013. The Detroit School of Arts Achievers Ladies Ensemble has also been selected as the featured choir for the Choral Festival at Carnegie Hall on Sunday, April 28, 2013.

Benefit Concert will be held to help raise funding for the trip at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 22 at Detroit School of Arts, 123 Selden, previewing what each group will perform at Carnegie Hall. The cost of the benefit concert is $10. For details, call (313) 494-6000.
