Bennett Elementary School’s Parent Resource Center held a “Baby and Me” workshop Monday, March 11, filled with spring themed activities where parents had just as much fun as their little ones.
The workshop started off with an upbeat sing-a-long that had the children smiling and laughing, followed by an interactive story from the Big Blue Book of Beginner Books.
Next, parents and their children took part in a spring themed activity where each child was able to pick from a colorful batch of plastic eggs, ribbon and stickers to decorate their own unique Easter egg.
Juice, fruit and cookies were made available for all participants as they worked up an appetite exercising their creative skills.
Bennett’s PRC hosts Baby and Me workshops every Monday, 11 a.m.- 1 p.m., where parents and children 0-5 years of age engage in activities that encourage new ways for parents to nurture, teach and play with their little ones.
