King Student Dontae Addison Shares Why He’s “In” to DPS!

Need a reminder of why you’re “In” to DPS? Check out Martin Luther King, Jr. Senior High School student Dontae Addison’s “I’m In” video!

As part of a month-long enrollment and school readiness campaign, Detroit Public Schools hosted an “I’m In” Student Video Contest in August where all DPS students were invited to create a unique video detailing why they’re “In” to DPS in 90 seconds or less.

The contest aimed to promote DPS Pride and showcase creative, original videos produced by students.

Addison, a sophomore, was surprised in his classroom on September 24 with the grand prize: Beats™ by Dr. Dre™ Studio High-Definition Headphones, donated by Office Depot.
