At Dixon Educational Learning Academy, mile-long hallways are bustling with stuffed stockings, Christmas décor and sparkling classroom doors, all trimmed in holiday gift wrap.
Winter blue snowflakes hang from the ceiling in the main office, as parents are greeted, with not one, but two, ceiling-high Christmas trees.

Perhaps the most cheerful bunch is the kindergartners of Dixon, who dressed in reindeer antlers and Santa hats for the annual Holiday Program on December 20, 2012. Dozens of parents attended the event to view student performances from all grade levels.
