Families across Detroit Public Schools will receive confirmation this week of the school their child/children will attend this fall.
Detroit Public Schools and the Education Achievement Authority of Michigan are sending different versions of School Assignment Letters. The district is also customizing letters for families whose students will attend the new Self-Governing Schools.
The letters follow a robust and highly-publicized Open Enrollment period in March in which parents and guardians filled out more than 13,000 forms opting to make a school selection for their child/children.
