With the collaboration of the Cranbrook Science Museum, Dixon Educational Learning Academy hosted a Family Science Night on April 3, 2012.
Approximately 300 students and their families participated in the hands on science activities, learning about catapults, bridges and arches and engaging in construction simulation. Stations were also created to demonstrate circuits and sound travel. The students made “Gook” and Solar System Bracelets. The most popular station was the Giant Cockroaches!
