DPS to showcase the district’s finest dance performances, Dance Arts programs through the 70th All-City Dance Concert

The Dance Concert is one of many district events highlighting the DPS Advantage this week leading up to the Saturday, March 31 All-Schools Open House

What:

DPS’ 70th All-City Dance Concert on Thursday night will showcase some of the finest dancers and Dance Arts Education programs in Detroit Public Schools. A variety of dance styles and traditions will be performed in gorgeous costumes, with brilliant lighting effects, showcasing the dancers’ strength, flexibility, agility, rhythmic acuity, and axial movements.

Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.

Note: Tickets may be purchased at participating schools or the Office of Health, Physical Education, and Safety, 9th floor West Wing, Fisher Building.  Or please call 313-870-3632 for tickets.  Cost of tickets: $10 in advance, $12 at the door. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for seating.
