Mathletics Night at Detroit Collegiate Preparatory Academy

Detroit Collegiate Preparatory Academy students and family enjoyed Mathletics Night.

The event was s night full of fun math game activities including raffles, probability games, integer races, walk the line TI inspire, action fractions and cubes, scavenger hunts, sphere races, area air, and volume ballum.

Ninth grade algebra teacher Yarisha Johnson converted her classroom into a math game room. Students won McDonald’s gift cards, Game Stop cards, and the top prize was won by math geek Leonardo Fisher, an android ipad donated by City Year Corps member Matthew Clayton.
