Under a Memorandum of Understanding with the U.S. Department of Education, the Chinese Ministry of Education sends two delegations to the U.S. annually, offering the delegates an opportunity to gain a general understanding of the country’s education, culture, and history. The programs are administered in the United States by the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations.
After being served Michigan apple cider and other Michigan products at FLICS, the delegates engaged in classroom observations.
