2011 Detroit Public School League Football Championships Friday at Ford Field

The Detroit Public School League’s “Drive to Arrive” at Ford Field remains alive for King High, Crockett High, Ford High and Douglass High, the four teams that comprise the PSL Division I and Division II Football Championship doubleheader Friday inside the home of the Detroit Lions.

Admission is $10 to see both championship games, with the Division II game between Ford (7-0 league, 7-1 overall) and Douglass (6-1 league, 7-1 overall) set for 4:30 p.m., followed by the Division I game between Crockett (6-1 league, 7-1 overall) and King (6-1 league, 6-2 overall) at 7 p.m. The festivities at halftime will include Homecoming Queen and King introductions from participating schools.

For the first time since 2006, the PSL Football Champions will be crowned at Ford Field.  Come out and support our Proud Strong Learners as they showcase their talents on the biggest of stages. The Drive to Arrive at Ford Field is on!
