Cass Tech, Renaissance win PSL girls’ swim titles

Cass Tech High finished first place in seven of the 11 events to capture the 2010 Detroit Public School League Division I girls’ swimming championship, while Renaissance High was just as dominant, winning of seven of 11 events, to win the PSL Division II crown.
Kyra Jefferson took home four gold medals to help account for Cass Tech’s 150 points. Western placed second in Division I with 120 points followed by Mumford 69, King 29, Kettering 16 and Central 3.

Renaissance Girls Swim Team

Renaissance’s 146 points in Division II was followed by DIA with 118, Southeastern 36, Northwestern 12 and Southwestern 6.
