Friday’s Detroit Public School League football game at King High School between the host Crusaders and the Cass Tech High Technicians has been changed to a 5 p.m. start.
The game was originally slated for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff as part of a PSL Game of the Week doubleheader that included Pershing vs. Douglass in the first game at 5 p.m. The Pershing-Douglass game will now be played at Douglass High School and start at 4 p.m.
Both Cass Tech and King are unbeaten with 4-0 records and are considered two of the state’s premier teams. Detroit Public Schools Athletic Administrator Alvin Ward said heavy fan interest prompted the change.
