U-M concussion seminar Sept. 12 open to parents, athletes, school personnel

The University of Michigan NeuroSport Concussion Program will present a free presentation on sports concussions from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12 at Detroit Country Day’s Performing Arts Center, 22305 W. 13 Mile Road, Beverly Hills, MI 48025. Registration is required and all athletes, parents, coaches, trainers, adminstrators and fans of the Detroit Public School League are encouraged to attend.
Learn about the latest medical approaches to managing sports concussions. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Jeffrey Kutcher, the director of the Michigan NeuroSport Concussion Program and U-M’s team neurologist, concussion consultant and advisor to the NCAA and Big Ten Conference.
