DPS hotline number set for parent concerns

The first day of school is Tuesday, Sept. 8, and Detroit Public Schools wants to make sure parents have all the information they need to enroll their children. To that end, the district is providing a one-stop shop to answer any questions that arise.

Parents who have questions are being asked to call (313) 240-4DPS for questions not answered by their child’s school. District staff will be on hand to answer phones beginning at 6 a.m., and that number will be staffed until 5:30 p.m. Extra staff will be on hand throughout the week to address concerns.

Again, parents should call (313) 240-4DPS if they have questions that cannot be answered at their individual school buildings.
