Then there is the new scoring record that was set
Keith Appling scored 49 points in the State Championship game which replaced former NBA star/Southwestern Alumnus, Antwan Joubert’s scoring record of 47 points that stood for 25 years.

The school and the Pershing community family will celebrate this great accomplishment at Pershing, 18875 Ryan, at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 31. Mayor Ken Cockrel and Dave Bing are expected to join the celebration.
