The Detroit Public Schools (DPS) Foundation, an independent non-profit educational foundation, has announced its new Alumni Giving and Development Program, giving all DPS alumni the opportunity to maintain their roots and advance the future of Detroit Public Schools students.
The Alumni Giving and Development Program's vision is to build relationships and giving across the DPS Alumni community by engaging alumni to give back to and support their alma maters and current DPS students, while reconnecting with fellow alumni.
This vision meets the Detroit Public Schools Foundation's overall mission to raise, manage and steward funds and other resources to support value-added programs and activities for the benefit of the Detroit Public Schools, DPS-authorized charter schools, DPS schools placed in the Education Achievement Authority and their respective students.
