Q: I can’t get into the system? I can’t remember my password or I don’t have access to any of the applications?
A: Call the WCRESA SIS helpdesk at 734-334-1805 or 734-334-1804.
Q: How do I access the system?
A: Click on the Internet Explorer Icon on the desktop to launch Internet Explorer. In the address bar at the top, type the following web address: sis.detroitk12.org. Some schools are having problems using sis.detroitk12.org, staff at these schools can use https://204.39.2.71/zangleconnect as an alternate until the underlying problem is resolved.
Q: I have a question about Special Education policy or about handling one of my students on my caseload?
A: Direct all policy related questions to your Special Ed Supervisor or Special Ed Director.
Q: When do I start using the system?
A: You can begin using the system once you have completed training.
Q: What do I do if the system is showing the wrong school information for me?
A: Although your school information is incorrect, you can still use the system to enter services and/or IEPs. Please contact your supervisor to find out why your location code is incorrect. This error will be fixed in the HR System and updated data will be downloaded to the WRESA System.
Q: What do I do if the system is showing the wrong school or demographic information for my student?
A: Although this information is incorrect, you can continue to do your work with the student. Please contact the Membership clerk in your building to update the student information on the AS/400
Q: What do I do if my student is not showing up in the system?
A: Please contact the Membership clerk in your building to look up the Student’s status on the AS/400: If the student’s information is there but he or she transferred schools recently, the student should appear in the correct location shortly.
***Important Note: Data for Students and Teachers in the New Student Information System comes from the AS400. Data from the AS/400 is uploaded into the SIS on a regularly scheduled basis. As data is corrected on the AS/400 it will be corrected in the new SIS application***
