Parent Support Package

Parents, The Office of Mathematics has assembled this packet to provide
you and your child with support activities that provide review and reinforcement
of mathematics concepts being tested on the 7th grade 1999 Michigan Educational
Assessment Program (MEAP) mathematics test. These selected materials focus
on the mathematics concepts of fractions, decimals, ratio, percent, and
measurement. The activities also reinforce the mathematics processing
skills of estimation and mental arithmetic. These homework activities
and related classroom activities your child will be receiving have been
selected to support successful achievement on the 1999 Michigan Educational
Assessment Program (MEAP) mathematics test.
